We LOVE slime at ARTventurers and this super slime recipe is SUPER easy and only uses 4 ingredients!
Make sure you supervise children carefully at ALL TIMES when making slime – ingredients must NOT be ingested!
You will need :
1 cup of PVA glue
1 teaspoon bicarb of soda
A small amount of gel food colouring
1 tablepoon of contact lens solution – IMPORTANT, it must be the type that contains Boric acid
Place the PVA glue into a bowl and add the bicarb of soda. Mix well
At this point stir in a couple of drops of gel food colour to colour your slime
Add the contact lens solution and stir well
Now’s the time to get your hands in – scoop out the mixture and stand to knead it with your hands. It will be sticky at first but the consitency should soon change to slimey…….if it remains very sticky then pop it back in the bowl, add a small amount of further contact lens solution and then knead again!
Happy slime making – feel free to share your Halloween slime photos with us on our Facebook page, we’d love to see them!
