Pink, red and hearts galore – it’s Valentine’s Day!

This week we’re exploring red, pink, hearts galore and having tons of creative fun with a Valentine’s theme. Our focus has also been on developing fine and gross motor skills – whilst getting messy in the process!

Our babies have been mark making in flour (with flowers!), exploring gloop and painting with balls!

String painting fun!

It’s chilly outside – if you’re planning a snuggle-at-home day with your little ones then why not try this super easy string painting activity? All you need is string, paper and paint – great for exploring colour mixing, developing motor skills, talking about cause and effect…..and the patterns look so pretty too! We did ours on pieces of paper cut out into a butterfly shape to make string painted butterflies but you could just use normal paper or try some different shapes too!
