Bringing Generations Together Through Colourful, Creative Fun!
Have you heard of our ARTventurers Intergenerational Sessions?
The concept behind them is simple! Both old and young can get so much out of spending time together – research shows that the acts of creative expression and social interaction though activities can improve health, both mentally and physically in our ageing communities. And our young ARTventurers and their grown ups parents often miss out on regular interaction with older generations if they live away from family or have no older living relatives.
Our ARTventurers Intergenerational Sessions bring our award winning art and creative play classes for babies, toddlers and children into your care home setting. It gives the elderly residents a chance to share in the fun – they can be as involved in the session as much as they wish and are able to do so. We sing, dance, explore and create together – it’s a unique opportunity for old and young to come together and share play experiences and the smiles on the faces really do say it all!
