ARTventurers flies high with Children’s Activities Week

Children’s Activities Weekchildrens activities week

Here at ARTventurers Newcastle & Gateshead, we’re getting involved with the Watch Me Fly campaign for Children’s Activities Week 2019. Throughout the week of 13th-17th May 2019,  we are raising vital funds and encouraging donations through our sponsored challenge to help support Caudwell Children (a charity that supports families affected by Autism).

All of our arty fun will be inspired by the theme ‘watch me fly’!

A few special things will be going on in classes, we will be encouraging EVERYONE to come in fancy dress….anything that flies. Could be Buzz Lightyear, an angel, fairy, ladybird, bee, unicorn, astronaut…..anything!

We will be embarking on a sponsored painty footprint challenge to see how many painty footprints we can make in a minute. If you would like to set up an online fundraising page to collect sponsors for the challenge, here is a link to set up your page https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-port…/userSignIn

We will also be collecting donations for Caudwell Children with a raffle going on throughout the week.

Getting involved is super easy. Join us in classes during the week –  single class tickets are available in some classes. Click here to find your local class.  If anyone would just like to make a donation online, here is our link –  https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/emilymiller14

Children’s Activities Association

Childrens Activities Week is run by the Children’s Activities Association, of which ARTventurers is a GOLD fully accredited member. It is an association set up to promote and safeguard the provision of safe and high quality activities for babies and children of all ages! It’s a little known (and scary!) fact that anyone can set up a children or baby activity class without ANY insurance, DBS, safeguarding and proper policies and procedures in place….let alone really knowing what they are doing during the sessions!

At ARTventurers, we are committed to children’s learning and development through art and creative play and the provision of high quality and safe children’s activities in ALL areas of our industry. And that’s why for us it was SO important to join the CAA and go through their full accreditation process! When you are looking for your a class for your little one, check to see if they are accredited for your peace of mind.

Keep your eyes peeled for photos of our Watch me Fly fun!
